* Fixed SFS on Windows Vista such that the user can execute any application (i.e. .exe file) that needs to “Run As Administrator”. Bug Fixes: * Fixed SCM installation to always install “HKLMSoftwareZeteraClient” registry key which is a mandatory requirement for proper operation of the Z-SAN software. This fix will address a majority of problems faced by SCM-3.0.4 (Build-2) Vista Beta-1 users. * Updated Broken Mirror Fixup utility (ver 0.2.2) to fix abnormal mirrors on SC101 & mirrors originally created with Vista. * Fixed ZSAN installation components to fail if any key component fails to install. ZSAN installation will now create a log file "ZSAN_Install.Log" under %windir%system32 directory. This fix will address problems faced by SCM-3.0.4 (Build-2) Vista Beta-1 users where user believes SCM installation has succeeded whereas it has actually failed. * Fixed Z-SAN software such that if the underlying Windows OS has been changed (e.g from XP to Vista) since the original installation, then upon startup it will alert the user and stop executing any further. This will prevent SCM users from accidentally messing up the Z-SAN volumes if anyone upgrades their Windows OS and does not reinstall SCM software. * Fixed ZSANAPI such that volume rename operation will rename all the partitions of the volume * Updated SFS by adding journal write optimization – rather than writing full journal everytime, SFS writes only blocks that contain modified entries. For large (>100GB) volumes, this reduces journal writes from 96KB to 8-16KB in many cases. * Fixed SFS by changing all references of DATAPLOW_ZFS to DATAPLOWSFSZ. The change was made due to licensing issues with the term “ZFS”. * Updated uninstallation routines with an API call to gracefully dismount all volumes on the client. This API needs to be called from the installer before actual uninstallation of the software can actually begin.

Known Issues * WEP Authentication type supports Auto and Shared mode only. Auto mode allows either Open System or Shared authentication type clients. Shared mode only allows Shared authentication type clients. * With WPA-PSK or WPA2-PSK using WDS, only AES encryption is available between access points. TKIP encryption is not supported. * When in Client Infrastructure mode, WEP authentication type supports only Open and Shared.

Known Issues: -NTFS write performance (upload to WNDR3700 attached USB storage) is slower than read. -Sometimes clicking “Safely remove USB device” button can't remove USB storage safely. Workaround: Make sure you are not accessing the attached USB device and the LED on USB device is not blinking (it means no one is accessing it). Then you need to remove the USB device directly and ignore the message about “remove USB device failure) from web GUI. -The record time interval of storing statistics data in traffic meter is extended to 60 mins instead of 5 mins to extend flash sector life time. If you power off router in between, you may see the statistics data to be slightly inconsistent. We’ll solve this problem soon and shorten the record time interval less than 5 mins. Workaround: Don’t power off router if you want most accurate measure of traffic statistics data. This will be fixed in upcoming firmware.

1. Added support for up to five Virtual Private Network (VPN) endpoints, including a VPN wizard for easy configuration and a VPN status log. This feature can be found under the Advanced menu.2.Added support for Wi-Fi Multimedia Quality of Service (WMM QoS) to prioritize wireless voice and video traffic. WMM QoS is a feature that provides prioritization of wireless data packets from different applications based on four access categories: voice, video, best effort, and background. For an application to receive the benefits of WMM QoS, both it and the client running that application must be WMM-enabled. Legacy applications that do not support WMM, and applications that do not require QoS, are assigned to the best-effort category, which receives a lower priority than voice and video. WMM QoS is enabled automatically.3.Added support for Wi-Fi Multi-Media Power Save (WMM-PS). WMM-PS extends the battery life of Wi-Fi devices by increasing the efficiency and flexibility of data transmission. With WMM-PS, the same amount of data can be transmitted in a shorter time and using fewer frames, while allowing the Wi-Fi device to remain longer in a low-power, "dozing" state. WMM-PS is enabled by default.4.Added support for Wi-Fi Protected Access Version 2 (WPA2) wireless encryption, which is a more powerful encryption method than WPA and which utilizes the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) block cipher (WPA uses the RC4 stream cipher). To invoke this feature go to Security Options on the Wireless Settings page.5.Note: The management interface supports only English for this release
